Due to a horrific cold and allergies, my week was a bust! BUT my partner in crime was hard at work.
Let me explain…
Recently I’ve been talking a lot with Nicole of The Wardrobe Code about her business. She’s a wardrobe coach and specializes in helping women evaluate their wardrobe and then fill in with items that are necessary to complete them. Nicole is especially fond of searching thrift stores and Goodwills to find true treasures that are reasonably priced. I’ve been so intrigued with the transformation she gets to make that I suggested we work together on a client to create a total look that includes hair and wardrobe.
Lucky for me, she said YES!!! I love a makeover!!!
Nicole and I chose Shannon of The Beauty Smith because we both kind of know her and knew she would be open and sweet to us on this first time venture!
We all met last week to share with Shannon the services that Nicole and I offer. We chatted about her closet, which she claims is empty as she wears a uniform to work and her thoughts on her hair. She very recently had her color and cut done so we will be focusing on styling. She has baby fine hair that she is trying to grow and never quite knows what to do with it.
As Nicole says, “Accoutrement and style do not happen overnight.” So Nicole decided to work on the wardrobe in two phases. First she scoured Shannon’s closet and found items that weren’t being worn the way she styled them above. Next, Nicole and Shannon will have a Goodwill Hunting to find items to add to her wardrobe. Hairstyling with me will be the third and final phase of her makeover.
Stay tuned for updates on our progress with Shannon next week and the big reveal the following week!
